A  bead and jewelry store located in Germantown, MD.  We sell our hand crafted jewelry and everything you need to create your own. Offering  thousands of beads from czech glass to semi-precious gemstones, including Swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls and so much more.... We also carry findings and beads in a variety of metals including sterling silver, gold-filled, vermeil, copper  as well as lead and nickel free antique brass, antique copper and gunmetal.  We have a large selection of chain by the foot. We also carry pendants, watches, charms and unique beaded gifts such as bookmarks, keychains, wine bottle stoppers and winecharms.

We offer jewelry repairs such as restringing as well as many others types of repairs.  Don't let that broken piece of jewelry sit in your jewelry box, bring it in and let us repair it so you can enjoy wearing it again!

Store Origins....

Jewel & Bead Gallery was founded in August 2005 by Christie Liljestrand. She started at home as a hobby like many beaders with a desire to make jewelry that she really wanted but either could not find what she was looking for or it was too expensive to purchase. Making her own jewelry seemed like the logical choice. Christie soon mastered the art, grew her home based business into a viable company, and has never looked back. Her ability to create unique custom designs using precious and semi-precious gemstones incorporating sterling silver, gold, crystals, freshwater pearls, and much more has been very successful, and these are all now available in our retail store in Germantown, MD. There were no Bead Stores or Custom Designed  Jewelry outlets for beaders in Germantown, MD .  Beaders had to travel 10 or more miles to purchase supplies, Jewel & Bead Gallery is centrally located in Montgomery County and serves as the main Beading Supplier in the area!
