Jewelry making in Germantown, MD, is perfect for
those new to beading or for advanced who would like
to learn something new. It's something friends can
enjoy together or to maybe meet others who share
an interest in making jewelry, here at Jewel and Bead Gallery.
Beading Classes:
Beading classes are taught every Thursday evening from 6-8pm (2 hours), the fee is $25 per person/per class, plus materials, you are welcome to bring your own beads. All necessary tools are provided in class. Our Class is an open forum; you choose the project and we'll teach you how to make it! At Jewel & Bead Gallery it's all about YOU! Not everyone in class will be making the same project, therefore in order to offer you the best one-on-one experience possible, we limit our classes to a maximum of 4-5 students and always have two instructors. Please call ahead at (240) 686-0131, or come in to the store to reserve your space. If for some reason our normally scheduled classes don't work for you OR you want to schedule time for you and your friends to take a class.. simply call us and we will help you make it happen!
Projects:
If you have jewelry that you would like to redesign, repair, duplicate, or create something new from a picture, bring them with you to class and we'll show you what you need to do.
If you are unsure of the project you would like to make, arrive early to maximize your class time to chose your project before class starts.
Parties:
Reserve a private class for you and up to 5 of your friends. Spend time with your girlfriends while learning to make your own jewelry.
We also offer birthday parties for young girls. The fee is $15 per girl, and each one creates their own memory wire necklace and bracelet. This is an easy, fun, and affordable way to celebrate a birthday.
Cancellations:
We will call you the day before your scheduled class to confirm your reservation. If you are unable to attend class, please call and let us know. There are always people who would love to have your spot, even at the last minute. We take pride in getting the most out of your time with us. If you don't show up or do not cancel within 24 hours of your reserved class day, your deposit will be forfeited.
