Jewel & Bead Gallery was founded in 2000 by Christie Liljestrand. She started at home as a hobby like many beaders with a desire to make custom jewelry that she really wanted but was either hard to find or was very expensive to purchase. Making her own jewelry seemed the logical choice. Christie soon mastered the art, grew her home based business into a viable company and has never looked back. Her ability to create unique custom designs using precious and semi-precious gemstones incorporating sterling silver, gold and crystals and more has been very successful and are now available in our retail store in Germantown Maryland as well as here on-line for your convenience. Located in the heart of Germantown Town Center, Jewel and Bead Gallery opened it's first retail location in August of 2005. Our store is easy to get to, a map is located under the hours / directions link above for your convenience. The store front windows offer monthly specials and seasonal themes displaying our jewelry and ideas towards great gifts or your own designs. |
